Princeton Review has been compiling top-twenty lists of colleges in various categories since 1992. This is a complete list of St. John's College's placements on these lists.

In the 1993 edition (published August 1992) of Princeton Review's guidebook,
St. John's in Maryland placed
#1 Class discussions encouraged
#4 Professors make themselves accessible
#6 Students from different backgrounds get along
#16 Is it food? (Campus food not so great)
#18 Most liberal students (category now called "Students most nostalgic for Bill Clinton")

St. John's in New Mexico was not on any of the book's ranking lists.
